Dapoxetine for premature ejaculation is an as-needed tablet that’s taken 1-3 hours before sex, with or without food.
Always take Dapoxetine exactly as your clinician has prescribed. Drink a full glass of water at the same time as you take a tablet. The recommended starting dose is one 30mg tablet.
Do not take more than one tablet in any 24 hours. Dapoxetine is not intended for regular daily use - you should only take it before you anticipate having sex. The tablet may have a bitter taste, so it is designed to be swallowed whole without chewing.
Do not drink alcohol or take recreational drugs whilst taking Dapoxetine.
Dapoxetine is most effective 1-3 hours after it is taken, but can sometimes retain its effects for up to 12 hours.
