Typically, one tablet of Cialis Together® is recommended to be taken approximately 60 minutes before sexual activity, and you should be able to achieve and maintain an erection for as long as it’s needed. The tablet should be swallowed whole, and not broken or crushed.
When Cialis Together® (or the generic version Tadalafil) is taken as needed for ED, it can start working within 30-45 minutes but reaches peak effect in most men 2 hours after it’s taken. Like other ED medications that are taken as needed, it must be taken in advance of when you plan to be sexually active, in order to allow sufficient time to start working.
Remember that Cialis Together® will only work when you are sexually aroused, but it should make it easier to get and sustain an erection during sexual intercourse.
One dose of Cialis Together® taken as needed for sexual activity can remain effective for up to 36 hours. Since the effectiveness of Cialis Together® lasts for a long time - particularly when compared to other ED medications including Sildenafil - it can be taken well in advance, to allow for more spontaneous sexual activity over the course of a day or night.
