The recommended usage guidelines for our Topical Finasteride 0.3% with Minoxidil 6% Serum are to apply a dosage of 1ml, once per day, across any areas of the scalp which require treatment. Shake well before applying.
Each 1ml dosage should be split across all of the affected areas of the scalp, as opposed to 1ml for each individual area. The recommendation is to carefully apply the total dosage in very small droplets to the affected areas only, getting as close as possible to the skin of the scalp when doing so.
The product should be gently rubbed in after applying, however the solution will be absorbed into the skin of the scalp regardless. You can use your fingers or the dropper pipette provided to spread the treatment across the scalp (particularly if treating a larger affected area), but this is not essential.
Quick tip: tilt your head back slightly to avoid any solution running down your forehead.
You can apply this treatment either before or after you shower. If you are planning to apply the serum beforehand, it is recommended to wait at least one hour after applying before you shower, in order to allow the medication to fully absorb into the hair follicles. However, you can also apply it after you shower, to either a towel-dry or dry scalp.
One routine which may be convenient is to apply shortly before going to sleep. The treatment will have had enough time on the scalp to be effective if you apply at night and wash your hair in the morning. Please ensure you allow sufficient time for the treatment to dry and absorb into the scalp before hitting the pillow.
As a reminder, always wash your hands after applying.
