The recommended usage guidelines for Regaine® are to apply a dosage of 1ml, twice per day (i.e. a total daily dosage of 2ml), across any areas of the scalp which require treatment.
Each 1ml dosage should be split across all of the affected areas of the scalp, as opposed to 1ml for each individual area. The recommendation is to carefully apply the total dosage to the affected areas only, getting as close as possible to the skin of the scalp when doing so.
Ensure both your hair and scalp are completely dry before applying.
The product should be lightly rubbed in after applying, however the solution will be absorbed into the skin of the scalp regardless. You can use your fingers to spread the treatment across the scalp (particularly if treating a larger affected area), but this is not essential.
Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the solution.
As this treatment is designed to be used twice daily - morning and night - it is recommended to leave a gap of at least 12 hours between applications, in order to achieve the optimal spacing between your dosages.
